Description of 818 Ministry

For I consider that the suffering of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the anxious longing of the creation waits eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

Romans 8:18ff

818 Ministry deeply grounds its work on Paul’s theological presentation in Romans 8:18ff. According to Paul’s worldview, God, in the beginning, created the world good. In addition, He bestowed upon human beings the essential element that separates them from the rest of creation; thus, giving them the ability to choose their own paths. God bequeathed them with the gift of free will with the intentions of having humans as co-authors/co-creators of the future; hence, with this ability, humanity has been appointed to mold the good world to an exciting dynamic between creation and creator.

Unfortunately the good world has plummeted down into brokenness. Nevertheless, since the fall of humanity, God has been determined to change the course of human life. So he sent his Son to save us from our fallen nature and to reveal to Gods stubborn creatures their original role in creation. In the time being those who choose to participate in the story of God anxiously await for Gods intervention at the end time-- i.e., the in-breaking of the fullness of the kingdom of God.

In accordance to Paul’s revelation in Romans 8:18 and following, 818 Ministry aims to spread this good news to the lost souls in the Philippines through (1) Cebu Bible College and (2) Jesan Center (3) Community
